Young Global Leaders Summit at the Dead Sea in Jordan
“The best summit ever.” YGL participant
A constellation of elements contributed to this year’s success, notably, the impact journeys and sessions, the networking opps, the group chemistry, and the venue, complete with private outdoor terrace. YGLs congregated in groups large and small to talk about passions, needs, know-how and dreams. A highlight of the week were the journeys that Her majesty, Queen Rania, organized to ten of her development and educational projects. Small groups of YGLs, joined by Forum staff and Value Web artists, learned about and contributed their expertise to these remarkable programs. The group of 250+ at this summit is part of a globally diverse network of peers from all segments of society. The community collaborates in these summits and throughout the year to find solutions to the world’s most pressing problems.

“The creative sessions, building the programme and brainstorming the
specific elements of the breakouts, environment design and experience were
not only pleasurable, but also highly effective. The feedback points to a
resounding success, with many very impressed people. The Value Web team was
highly professional and very able. Many comments in the feedback underlined
the participants’ high regard of the Value Web work during the meeting.”

World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland
“In the fourth year of the Davos ‘workshops with a difference’ participants were challenged to channel their creative and intellectual efforts into developing solutions to global problems that are actionable, practical and sustainable. Activities were based on the Annual Meeting’s theme of the Power of Collaborative Innovation, with a running theme of ‘communities at work’.”

IGNPO DesignSession 2007 in Geneva
“It was probably the best workshop I have ever attended. It was well prepared, smartly designed and nicely facilitated. It managed to get everybody involved, encouraging creativity and exchange. But it also managed to produce what is typically a weak part of workshops: quality and usable output. And the writeup of the session was superb, allowing to continue the good work after the session.”
Gerald Leipold, International Executive Director – Greenpeace
